'It all started with my 8th grade science teacher with whom I'm still very good friends. After I finished 8th grade he asked me if I wanted to help him for the summer to make a little extra money. I said 'Sure! What are we going to be doing?' He said 'Moving a pipe organ from one church to another.' Well while doing so we got to talking about cameras and I got interested in photography. After that summer I bought my first camera - it was a 35MM SLR. I took pictures all through high school and have been taking pictures ever since. Out of high school I started working for the fire service. I got into flying and after 15 years of being in the fire service I changed careers. I'm a commercial airline pilot now. The airline pays a good bit more so I was able to buy some really nice camera equipment and that is the equipment I am shooting with now.'
